Rich Gaspari is 60 but hardly looks like it. The veteran bodybuilding champion who was the first to win an Arnold Classic still works out even after retiring. He is known for his immaculate glutes and otherworldly strength and determination. Even though he had some natural shortcomings, he has achieved immense success and even finished second in Mr Olympia.
Recently, the icon shared a video sharing the benefits of hyperextensions and what it can help with. He uploaded a video where he was doing the exercise himself and his technique is top-notch.
Rich Gaspari gives some tricks on hyperextensions

In the video, he was doing intense hyperextension crunches, and that too at lightning-fast speed. Even at 60, his stamina is as great as that of a bodybuilder who is still in their 30s. The champion was known for his glutes during his prime days and was named The Itch The Dragon Slayer for his groundbreaking training and freakish muscles.

He captioned the post saying, “Hyperextensions are not only great for lower back development but also working both glutes and hamstrings.” He also said that he still does reps of 20 to 30 after doing hip thrusts. The burn in the hamstrings is what makes the glutes stronger.
Gaspari previously shared his gym workout sessions and advice as well. He described the key exercises in his routine and how hamstrings can be made stronger.

Gaspari shares his routine
After returning from South Korea and resting from the jet lag he was back at the gym and shared his exercise with the fans. Gaspari described three key exercises in his routine. He said “Goblet squats and finishing with RDLs to hit glutes and hamstrings. All reps of 20 increasing weights each set.”
Further, he also encouraged fitness enthusiasts to be careful not to make excuses when it comes to the gym and said, “Never make excuses not to get to the gym no matter how you feel. Just be there!” Gaspari’s determination is surely commendable.
