Winning 8 Mr. Olympia titles consecutively in a row was definitely not a cakewalk, and well, the king never let anything get in the way of his dreams.

The road to success was exceptionally difficult for Ronnie Coleman. He has battled through several serious injuries and has spent a lot of his career in the hospital, but never gave up on his love for fitness. His recent post is a testament to it.

The King of bodybuilding, Ronnie Coleman recently took to his official Instagram account @ronniecoleman8 and shared a couple of stories to promote his clothing brand YoungLA. In the videos, he was seen wearing a brown co-ord set paired with black and white sneakers in the gym.

In one of the stories, he shared a snippet from his intense shoulder workout session where he was seen performing the exercise in his style, going lightweight and heavier on the reps. He was seen doing an active set of machine backward lateral raises and well the energy reflecting on his workout was unmatchable.

HHe easily pulled off seventeen clean reps of the exercise without even losing breath. That is evident enough of his unparalleled strength and proves that he truly is the GOAT of bodybuilding. However, he once mentioned about how retiring from the professional realms of the sport has left him with a huge void.

Ronnie Coleman talks about his post-retirement boredom

After retiring from an illustrious career in the fitness community and etching his name as one of the greatest athletes of all time, he shared that the last Mr. Olympia Championship did not go as he had planned for it to go. He confessed, “All of the workouts I went through eventually caught up with me. I had serious problems with my back. In fact, I never took a long break to let my body fully recover.”

He further added that he often misses his prep days before appearing on the stage. After retirement, there are no such difficult days to go through. He went on, “I was under enormous pressure during each preparation for Mr. Olympia. Nowadays, I’m a little bored.
