The DC Comics superhero, Batman, has been a trending topic among fans since its first feature on the big screen. Many actors have tried their hands at the superhero. However, only a few had the opportunity to get back in the iconic suit once again. Notable actor, Michael Keaton had acted in two movies of the franchise (1989 and 1992). This year, the actor shall be back in the suit after a grand 31 years in a new standalone feature, The Flash.?
Keaton discussed intriguing details of the movie while talking about his comeback in an interview with host Jimmy Fallon on his show, The Tonight Show from August 2021. Speaking on that, the actor ended up revealing a surprising revelation about rightly fitting into the superhero suit.?

As per the iconic interview from 2 years ago, when the movie?s shoots were still underway, the 71-year-old actor once took the opportunity to shed light on his experience playing the part once again. He compared his experience with the suit and claimed, ?You know when I was first doing it I got in really good shape.??
Only to realize later on that it wasn?t really needed. Though it required a certain amount of fitness to just ?carry that thing around,? it was rather simpler when Keaton focused on maintaining a ?skinny? physique. Thus, the Golden Globe winner star added, ?It’s easier to be really skinny and not workout because you have more room to work around.??
Other than that, when Fallon asked him about his feelings about getting to play Batman once again, he had a heartwarming response. ?Like riding a bike,? he briefly shared. Furthermore, he began narrating his first experience acting the part.?
A strange instance that helped Michael Keaton understand his role
Sharing an anecdote from his ?first one?, Keaton revealed that in his 1989 feature, he was working too hard to build a great form for his superhero role. ?I?m working on the bag and doing all this stuff?? he revealed. Interestingly, the American actor, Jack Nicholson, who was playing the antagonist, Joker, in the movie, walked past him amid his workout.?
?He looks at me and goes, What are you doing?? Keaton shared. After explaining his plan, Nicholson was doubtful and asked him why he must be working out to play the role. That is when it struck Keaton that the suit shall do all the work of making him look like a superhero. ?Cause you got a suit, what do I need to do?? he chimed in while everyone burst into laughter.?

This year, Keaton is expected to raise the standards of Batman, three decades after his first-ever feature as the superhero. The movie, which has left fans holding their breaths, is set to release on the 16th of this month.
