Two bodybuilding legends in a single frame can be nothing but a moment of greatness. Similarly,?Arnold Schwarzenegger?and?Ronnie Coleman?recently met up for an impromptu workout session at the Mecca of bodybuilding. The Gold?s Gym on Venice Beach was brimming with passion and excitement as the two greats took turns pumping iron.

However, the conversations between them also iterated the names of pioneers in the field. Arnie briefly remembered the late Canadian bodybuilder and founder of the IFBB and?Mr. Olympia?contests, Joe Weider. Arnold?s Schwarzenegger?s ambition left Joe Weider swayed

The Austrian Oak took the moment to discuss his iconic mentor, Joe Weider, who shifted the trajectory of his entire career, in his autobiography. As the story goes, soon after Arnie moved to the U.S. upon Weider?s invitation, he went looking for a job. The 6?2 athlete did not want to take Weider?s money for nothing and requested that he give him work.

An impressed Weider compared him to the lazy ones. As stated in?Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Lifestory,?the Mr. Olympia creator said,?“You want to work, you want to build yourself, you are German, you are a machine, you are unbelievable. You are not like these lazy ba**ards!”
