In a recent post, Mike O’Hearn uploaded a video of his son in which, he is seen doing the basics of martial arts. The caption said, “Why do I believe that martial arts is such an essential study for a human? because it always teaches peace and respect prior to the ability to protect yourself and those around you.”

He has a heart for martial arts and he has chosen this sport as an athlete career launcher for his son. His interest in bodybuilding came when he started admiring Bruce Lee.

The fitness athlete once revealed that he never intended to limit his goals to just bodybuilding. Mike O’Hearn calls MMA legend, Bruce Lee his idol. He had grown up admiring Bruce Lee and learning athletics skills from him. While talking about other esteemed athletes, the Hong Kong star’s name was at the top. As he learned Judo in the past, it is explicit why he idolizes Lee. He said, “ never wanted the one dimension. I never wanted to be just a bodybuilder…”

He revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Lee were the heroes he always idolized.
