Many people discuss genetics in bodybuilding today as a major determiner of a competitor’s future success. The idea is that without favorable genetics, becoming a champion, especially in major competitions, seems unlikely. However, 60-year-old veteran bodybuilder Rich Gaspari serves as an icon, demonstrating that with willpower, hard work, and perseverance, one can overcome genetic limitations in the world of bodybuilding.

Even though he had some natural shortcomings, he managed to come in second in several Mr. Olympia competitions and was the first to win the famous Arnold Classic competition. Recently, he shared a video from his gym on social media after returning from a trip. He took a break, rested, and then hit the gym again.
