Ronnie Coleman recently took to his official Instagram account and shared a video of himself, where he is seen announcing his presence at the Mr. Olympia expo this year, during the weekend, taking the initiative to invite his followers to meet him. And while he talks about the expo, the King reveals how important a part of the Olympia is in his bodybuilding career.

In the video, he is seen sitting in front of a stand, where all his eight prestigious Sandow trophies are arranged in a row, demonstrating the value they have in his life. He begins by saying, “I want to talk to you about something near and dear to my heart – The Olympia.” He then goes on to talk about how he was christened with his beloved nickname on the stage of the Olympia.

He adds, “The Olympia is where my legacy was forged, where I became the King of bodybuilding. The Olympia means the world to me and I have poured my heart and soul into this sport and this is where the champions are made.” And this is one of the primary reasons that, despite not being a participant anymore, he continues to follow every bit of the show, and is as excited about it as he used to be in his prime days. Ronnie Coleman also made his prediction for this year’s Olympia, days before the D-Day based on his extensive observation and experience.

Ronnie Coleman predicts the winner of the Mr. Olympia 2023

Ronnie Coleman finally gave out his top six predictions in a video on his official YouTube channel. He stated that this year, the 2022 Olympia champion, Hadi Choopan does not have it in him to defend the title and that there are better athletes, who have higher probabilities of taking the trophy home. However, before his prediction, he says, “This is going to be one of the biggest upsets in the sport of bodybuilding ever”.

According to Ronnie Coleman, Derek Lunsford is all set to win the prestigious title of Mr. Olympia 2023, and there is no athlete, with better chances of winning it. Justifying his prediction, Coleman said, “Derek Lunsford is going to win this whole thing coming out of the 212 all the way to the open becoming the best bodybuilder in the world in 2023. He’s gonna win on size, conditioning, and most importantly he has the shape that is way ahead of all the other guys in the show”.
