While Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg belong to different fields, the two CEOs became competitors when the Tesla founder took over Twitter. Since then, the rivalry has heated up and seems to have reached a boiling point. Recently, the pair said they were willing to fight one another in a cage match. However, there was more to come, as the 39-year-old Facebook owner launched Threads on July 6. Even the eldest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Patrick, has tweeted about it.
Threads took the social media world by storm. The app continues to break records in terms of growth. However, Threads is incredibly similar to Twitter. As celebrities and influencers hop on the new platform in droves, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 29-year-old son has given up. Patrick Schwarzenegger clarified exactly how he feels in his latest Twitter post.

Patrick Schwarzenegger is an active social media user. While he has accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, he is most active on Twitter. The actor regularly tweets about various subjects, from sports to films to politics and more. However, for the past two days, all everyone can talk about on social media has been related to Threads.
However, instead of joining the hype train, The Terminal List actor has decided to stay where he is. “I honestly don’t think I have It in me to do threads,” Patrick Schwarzenegger tweeted. Threads is identical to Twitter in many ways and hence attracts people who didn’t like the way Facebook or Instagram work. According to the latest reports, Threads has just crossed the 80 million follower mark.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, who isn’t on TikTok either, is tired of new social media apps. However, while Arnie’s son doesn’t have the energy for Threads, the Scpae X CEO’s reaction to the app was much more extreme. Elon Musk thinks that Threads is a copycat app and has threatened to sue Meta over Threads. Despite that, the two billionaires might settle their scores differently.
Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk plan to literally duke it out
While people thought that Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk’s willingness to fight one another was nothing more than banter, however, things soon changed when UFC President Dana White said both CEOs were “serious” about it. Zuckerberg has been training BJJ for a while and recently even won a novice BJJ tournament. Musk didn’t have the training, but he has started.
Recently, podcast host and a black belt in BJJ Lex Fridman did an impromptu training session with Musk. The podcaster later said he was impressed with the 52-year-old’s strength despite no formal grappling training. However, not just Fridman, but UFC legend Georges St-Pierre has offered Musk a potential MMA fight with Zuckerberg. While nothing is confirmed, only time will tell if the billionaire cage match happens.
