The Terminator icon fathered a child, Joseph Baena, in 1997, outside of his marriage with his then-housekeeper, Mildred Baena. But the truth came out only when Maria Shriver, Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife, confronted him about Joseph Baena in 2011. The affair with Mildred Baena broke Schwarzenegger and Shriver’s marriage as the couple decided to separate.

But Arnie developed a close bond with his love child, Joseph Baena, over the years. The youngest child of the Governator is now known as a replica of his father in terms of his ripped physique. However, the 7x Mr. Olympia maintains no ties with his mother, Mildred Baena.

“Arnold and Mildred don’t hang out, don’t talk very often, or at all, but he makes sure that she is okay and finds out how she is doing through Joseph, and it is all done matter of factly,” DailyMail.com writes as per insiders’ revelation. Schwarzenegger reportedly moved on from that incident, which he called his f*ck up earlier. His daily routine now doesn’t include Baena’s mother. However, he still maintains a cordial relationship with his ex-wife, Maria Shriver.

Despite separating a decade ago, Arnie never fails to compliment his ex-wife for her presence in his life. They often meet for special occasions, celebrating birthdays and festivals with kids. The duo recently clicked pictures together at Patrick’s birthday celebrations. The Austrian Oak appreciates his ex-wife for her parenting duties and wants an Oscar for him and Shriver for raising the kids effortlessly despite the divorce drama.

Speaking to People about his feelings for his ex-wife, the 76-year-old admitted, “My chapter with Maria will continue on forever. Even though it’s a different relationship, there’s no reason for me to feel anything other than love for her.“
