The bodybuilding icon compiled several workout plans in one book making sure it has a workout for everyone from beginners to experienced lifters. While making the announcement, the 76-year-old former champion uploaded a throwback picture with a 60s bodybuilding legend.

The 6-foot golden-era bodybuilder with blonde hair and a 54-inch chest stood beside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the picture. While the 60s bodybuilding legend had nothing to do with Arnie’s announcement, he caught the attention of fans. Besides thanking the 76-year-old icon for the free ebook, netizens inquired about the identity of the bodybuilder who passed away in 2021.

The Blonde Bomber beside Arnold Schwarzenegger

The man standing beside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the old photograph is none other than 60s bodybuilding legend Dave Draper. Draper trained with bodybuilding elites like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbu, Frank Zane, and other Golden Era legends. However, Dave ‘Blonde Bomber’ Drape was an elite bodybuilder in his own right.

Draper competed throughout the 60s earning the IFBB Mr. America title in 1965. The following year, he won the prestigious Mr. Universe title. IFBB co-founder Joe Weider named Draper the Blonde Bomber because of his blonde hair and because Weider made him the poster child of his “Muscle Bomber” workout.
