Arnold Schwarzenegger’s On-Screen Ex-Wife “Feel So Lucky To” Witness Some of Terminators’ “Rarely Seen Vulnerable Moments”

Considering the iconic blockbusters Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered, sharing the silver screen with him can be a big moment for many Hollywood stars. And while the Austrian Oak is known for his tough characters, witnessing his vulnerable moments on screen is an experience that many actors can only dream of. However, for Fabiana Udenio, who played his on-screen ex-wife in the latest Netflix series FUBAR, this opportunity is nothing short of a matter of pride.  The Argentinian-born actress recently shared her feelings about working alongside the Hollywood Legend and expressed her gratitude for being able to witness the softer yet rare sight of Arnold’s Terminator persona. 

In FUBAR, Schwarzenegger takes on the role of a retired CIA agent. But his character is quite different from his typical tough and invulnerable roles and Udenio recently, opened the uniqueness of his latest portrayal.

While audiences have become accustomed to Schwarzenegger’s larger-than-life action-hero image, FUBAR provides a refreshing change of pace. In her latest interview, Udenio emphasized how fortunate she felt to have had a front-row seat to witness the rarely-seen aspects of Schwarzenegger’s acting prowess. “I feel so lucky to be on the receiving end of some of Arnold’s rarely seen vulnerable moments,”, she said.  

The series delves into the complex emotions of Arnild’s character as he desperately tries to win back his wife. It showcased Schwarzenegger’s ability to portray a character who is willing to expose his vulnerabilities in the pursuit of love. Udenio told Fox News, “I mean, this guy pours his heart out to get her back … And there are some really truthful, though vulnerable moments that he has with her.

Udenio revealed that her character serves as the catalyst for these emotional moments, and she couldn’t be happier about the experience. “And listening to those, it really touch[ed] a chord in my romantic soul,” she added. However, the bodybuilding icon’s love for his past relationship isn’t limited to his onscreen chemistry. 

Schwarzenegger’s bond with her ex-wife 

It has been more than a decade since the Austrian Oak and her ex-wife filed for divorce before eventually parting ways in 2021. However, the former governor of California recently made a strong statement about the current bond between him and Maria Shriver.  “I love my wife”, he said in the interview.

The Terminator also revealed that he is proud of the way they both have raised their children despite the differences between the two. He further added that they never allowed their personal issues to come in between family affairs as they were dedicated to celebrating all major festivals as one united family. The bodybuilding legend has talked more about the roller coaster ride of relationships in his upcoming documentary and fans couldn’t wait to see the candidate side of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
