Von Moger’s journey has been anything but smooth. He earned his Pro Card at the 2020 NPC Universe but hasn’t competed recently. This year, he began training again and is thoroughly enjoying the process. A trip to the doctor revealed low testosterone levels, leading him to start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

“It’s something I hadn’t done in probably two years,” he said while explaining that his doctor revealed how his testosterone was not coming back naturally and he could not produce it. “I figured, ‘Hey, that’s probably going to contribute to my mental health and get me out of a bit of a hole.’ I started the TRT initially and within, I think, the first eight weeks, I just blew up,” revealed Von Moger.

Von Moger is not aiming to compete in 2024 but acknowledges it could happen if he gets his physique stage-ready. He’s currently focused on enjoying the gym, training, and re-entering the social scene. He emphasized that bodybuilding requires full-time dedication, involving sleep, diet, training, and recovery to improve your physique. “So there’s just so much that you can pack into your day just for bodybuilding,” highlighted Arnold 2.0. Despite his emphasis on training and allowing himself time to indulge after a two-year gap, he also openly discussed the psychological toll he faced, which left him unable to train.
