It displayed a scene featuring megastar, Tom Cruise from the 1999 movie, Magnolia. The meme portrayed Cruise in an iconic scene, unapologetically voicing his opinions and yelling, “I will not apologize for who I am…for what I need…for what I want!” However, the title in the video took a whole other turn.

You still order chicken strips at restaurants?”  This angle of the meme hit the NY Times best-selling author where it hurts, as she frankly wrote in the story, “I’m 33 but this is me.”

The Paul Thomas Anderson-led film was a massive hit in the 90s, deriving much recognition from film fanatics and the industry. Budgeted at $37 million Magnolia is a psychological drama film based on two cancer-battling individuals hailing from dysfunctional families.
