Joseph Baena, the son of the bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, is not only a fan of the sport, but like his father, he has shown interest in various other fields as well. In recent times, the young fitness influencer’s love for soccer has been showcased on his Instagram account.
Even while on his trip to the Arnold Classic South America, Baena didn’t miss the chance to be part of the Palmeiras vs. Santos match held on April 7, 2024. Now, the Austrian Oak’s son has hit up the Copa América’s Group D match between two prominent teams in South America.
Baena recently posted a story on his Instagram account showcasing himself in the stands for the match between Brazil and Costa Rica, held in Los Angeles. While the match ended up in a draw with none of the teams able to score a goal, it was packed with exciting twists and turns.

According to ESPN, the fact that Costa Rica held Brazil scoreless was a shocker for most soccer fans. That being said, Brazil did dominate proceeds and had three shots on target. In shark contrast, Costa Rica wasn’t even able to take a single shot at the goal. Brazil got a total of nine corner kicks, which made the match even more engaging.

Earlier, the seven-time Mr. Olympia’s son had shared a story of having an arms day before catching up on the match. With some heavy dumbbells, Baena performed quite a few bicep curls. Mixing his love for both bodybuilding and soccer, Joseph Baena had earlier trained with an RB Leipzig’s soccer player.
Baena trains with Willi Orban
During his trip to Leipzig, Germany, the Austrian Oak son’s trip got a chance to train with center-back Willi Orban. Baena shared a series of images on Instagram with the 31-year-old Hungarian national team star. Orban gave a t-shirt to Baena and captioned the image, “What an experience…”

The duo even trained together and had a chest day at the club’s gym, and Baena was seen spotting the star soccer athlete. After a while, they switched places and did a few reps on the flat bench press. The youngest son of the legendary seven-time Mr. Olympia wrote, “he new CB ready to muscle some people off the ball.“
