The Austrian Oak never talks about anything without showing substantial research related to the subject. Similarly, he decided to show recent research that suggests that plastic bottles have more nano plastics than it was assumed before. For the uninitiated, the nano plastics are, “minuscule plastic particles smaller than 1 micrometer in size (about the size of a speck of dust) that — in small amounts — are likely not to cause danger.”

These microscopic plastic particles are now a daily part of the environment including the drinking water that people consume daily. However, Arnie also assures fans that there is no need to worry because the human body can handle some of the exposure. The main aim, “isn’t to avoid them altogether (as that’s likely impossible), but you do want to limit the total exposure.”

So according to new research, it has been found that there are more amounts of nanoplastics in the plastic bottles that are manufactured today, and the smaller the particles the more dangerous they can be. There is also a possibility of a connection between nanoplastics and high blood pressure or diseases like type 2 diabetes. The Austrian Oak has a solution to this and he gave it in a step-by-step format.

“Limit how much water you drink from plastic bottles. Glass or stainless steel are better options. Look into home-filtered water solutions,” is what the environmentalist suggested. He hit two birds with one stone since plastic is harmful to the environment and also to the human body. So, if people stop using plastic bottles, both the earth and people’s health will be spared. Similarly, once he talked about going vegan which could help both people and the environment.

He once wrote in his newsletter about eating plant-based diets, especially at his age instead of meat. The Austrian Oak added that since raising livestock contributed to 28% of the pollution it was better to cut down on the meat intake. The Austrian Oak understands the necessity of good health and a good environment which made him sell his beloved Hummer as well due to emissions and bought an eco-friendly Hummer.

He has already switched to a plant-based diet himself and found a lot of health benefits from it. He further told FND, “I’ve cut down my meat intake considerably by 70% or so.” He has always shown concern for the environment and people’s health alike.
