In the latest edition of the Arnold’s Pump, Schwarzenegger revealed how as per quite a few studies, eating five servings of fruits and vegetables will provide maximum health benefits as well as shield the heart better. “Eating two servings (technically, it’s 2.5 servings) was associated with a 6 percent reduced risk of heart disease, an 18 percent reduced risk of stroke, and a 13 percent reduced risk of cardiovascular disease,” he wrote.
However, the bodybuilder did not forget how many do not like eating fruits and vegetables. For those, Schwarzenegger suggested how one should start with easier variations so as not to get overwhelmed right in the beginning. “If veggies or fruits are a struggle, find easy ways to mix the foods into meals you love or foods that make it easier to dilute the taste. You can add vegetables to your favorite sandwich, brew them into a soup, or blend them into a smoothie.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger sure does know the necessity of keeping one’s heart healthy because of the pain he had to go through for his heart surgeries. Earlier, the bodybuilder had confessed how his surgeries had affected him.
