Arnie, elaborating on applied research that was effectively studied for 10 years on more than 40,000 adults, stated the relationship between physical activity, depressive symptoms, and major depression. He wrote, “The more you exercise (up to 300 minutes per week or more), the lower your likelihood of depressive symptoms and major depressive disorder.”

He even added that it only takes very little of your time to work out. The benefit, as per the statistics of the research, is that you just need to work out for around 45 minutes a week. It does not necessarily need to be a grueling session or intense workout. It can include low-intensity exercise like walking as well.

Further, in the same edition of his daily newsletter, Arnold Schwarzenegger gave insights on the diet Domino effect. He explained how it benefits your food choices and keeps you active for the rest of the day.

Arnold Schwarzenegger states that breakfast may not be the most important meal of the day. However, what you eat in your first meal weighs up your success for the rest of the day. Stating another piece of research, he mentioned, “Research suggests that adding protein to your breakfast can cause a domino effect that helps control your appetite and improve your food choices for the rest of the day.”
