Arnold Schwarzenegger has always shown his love for the country. As a former Governor, the bodybuilding icon has also served his state with much patriotism. Even now, whenever he gets the chance, he wears his patriotism on his sleeve. This time when he met one of the famous US Army Lieutenant General, he showed much gratitude and shared his picture with him online.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, along with his team and his daughter, recently went to the United States Military Academy. Looking at the disciplinary conduct there, The Austrian Oak was extremely moved and revealed his feelings in an Instagram story.

In his latest Instagram story, Schwarzenegger shared a picture where he was standing next to a former US Army Lieutenant General, Lt. Gen. Steve Gilland. He held on to a T-shirt that promoted, “Duty. Honour. Country.” The bodybuilder also wrote in his captions, “It was a fantastic meeting @westpointsuperintendent, and learning how the United States Military Academy builds the leaders of the US Army.”
Furthermore, Lt. Gilland also shared more photos from the day which showed a better view of everyone who joined him that day. He stated, “Great opportunity to meet @schwarzenegger, his daughter, and members of his team, along with Mr. Sonki Hong, USMA 1993 and Civilian Aide to the SecArmy.” Then he praised Arnold for talking about how the Austrian Army impacted his life through “maturity and self discipline.”

Austrian-born Schwarzenegger started his political journey in 2003 when he first ran for the Governor post. Arnie served as Governor from 2003 till 2011. Yet there was a time when he had confessed that this was not enough. To serve the country more, he would have run for President if he had been born in America.
Schwarzenegger had stated in 2016, “If I’d been born in America, I would’ve run. Because now? This was a very good time to get in the race.” Around the same time when Donald Trump was running for the position of President, Schwarzenegger had also declared, “For the first time since I became a citizen in 1983, I will not vote for the Republican candidate for president,.”
