Legendary Hollywood attorney Jake Bloom has recently peacefully reunited with the stars at the age of 81. The unfortunate death happened of natural causes at his home in Sun Valley, Idaho, on Thursday, his wife Ruth confirmed. As the world of entertainment mourns the loss of a beloved individual, Arnold Schwarzenegger evidently suffers from the huge blow of Bloom’s death.

Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s transition from the realm of bodybuilding to Hollywood was full of bumps and troubles. Fortunately, there were a lot of individuals by his side to assist and guide him. As the years passed, Schwarzenegger became a household name thanks to his most beloved movie series, Terminator. As he made headlines back in the day after bagging a whopping 29.25 million for Terminator 3, not many people are aware that the helping force behind this contract was none other than Jake Bloom.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s confidante, Gone but never forgotten

Jake Bloom founded Bloom, Hergot LLP back in 1970, which later went on to become the most successful as well as the largest entertainment law firm in Hollywood history. Apart from Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bloom also represented renowned names like Johnny Depp, Bruce Willis, Jackie Chan, Jason Patric, Sylvester Stallone, etc.

The death must have been taxing for Arnold Schwarzenegger, as the duo shared a close bond. Bloom helped Arnold get a whopping $29.25 million contract to reprise one of his signature roles in Terminator 3 back in 2001. An additional incentive provided to ‘The Austrian Oak’ was access to private jets, 24/7 access to bodyguards and/or limousines, as well as a gym trailer so that he could maintain his muscle mass and train regularly.

Apart from all this, Schwarzenegger also demanded $3 million, which the director agreed to in order to bring back the familiar face. The amount that the two parties agreed on was paid over 19 weeks of shooting. Bloom helped Schwarzenegger get a provision that would pay him an additional $1.6 million per week.

Bloom was a humanitarian. He indulged in various donations and charities and worked for the Hunger Coalition and multiple Jewish organizations. Bloom was blessed with a lovely wife, two children, and four grandchildren.
