Schwarzenegger declared in the newsletter that people don’t need to spend hours to build strength. Instead, “10 minutes of strength training is enough to protect your health,” he wrote. “You can perform this program three days per week, resting one day between each workout,” stated The Terminator. So, how does it work? It’s all about timed sets. Set your timer and get ready to sweat! Depending on your fitness level, you’ll perform each exercise for either 10, 20, or 30 seconds, followed by a 30-second rest before moving on to the next exercise. The goal? Cycle through the exercises as many times as you can within the designated time frame.

For those opting for the workout’s bodyweight version, exercises like hip raises, walking lunges, pushups, superman pullups or inverted rows, and planks are on the list. No fancy equipment is needed, just your own body and determination. If you’re up for a challenge, the weighted version incorporates dumbbells, barbells, or kettlebells for added resistance. Think straight-leg deadlifts, lunges, overhead presses, bent-over rows, and the formidable hollow body hold.
