Moments before the final ceremony of the Arnold Classic UK, the legendary bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger gave a heartwarming speech addressing the reason behind the Arnold Classic UK. Displaying his joy and satisfaction with conducting the Arnold Classic UK Arnie started his speech with a simple thank you for the introduction that he was given and a simple, “This is exactly the way we’re rolling.”

Delving into the past, Schwarzenegger recalled how it had always been his dream from the start to hold the Arnold Classic in the UK. He explained the reason, saying, “This was always my dream to have it in England, because I started my career in England.” The Austrian Oak had won his first Mr. Universe competition in London in 1967 after which he won the competition the next three years straight.

Continuing his reminiscence, Arnie talked about how it was a rocky road, bringing the Arnold Classic to the UK. The first show held in the UK was back in 2021. But now things have changed because Arnie is doing the production himself and ensuring that things are up to the mark.   

According to Arnie, walking around the convention and looking at all the companies displaying their products, the audience full of energy filled him with excitement and joy. Arnie added, “I was so excited to see my vision realized. And now to come in here today to see a packed house here, I mean, this is really fantastic.” Lastly, the Governator thanked all his sponsors, the audience, and all the athletes for making the show a huge success in the UK.

On the other hand, even as he talks highly about the way the event unfolded in the UK, one might wonder what the Austrian Oak would do to celebrate its success. That being said, the legendary bodybuilder is not that great at celebrating victories. 

Arnie recommends that everyone celebrate their wins

In his daily fitness newsletter, Arnold’s Pump Club, Arnie shared that he doesn’t celebrate his wins and wrote, “I will be honest. I’m sh*tty at celebrating.” “I’m so bad at slowing down and enjoying a victory – I’m just moving forward to the next thing,” Arnie added in his response to a fan’s question about how he treats his victories. However, this might not be a good practice, says the Terminator.

According to Schwarzenegger, it’s not normal to not acknowledge your victory. He urges everyone to celebrate their wing, highlighting that recognizing these keeps you focused and committed to your goals.
