The supplement industry is a billion-dollar market at this point. With over 29,000 dietary supplements available out there, it can surely be a little overwhelming when one goes supplement shopping. While multiple products are almost useless for most, some supplements are important for our bodies. Seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger has been in the bodybuilding realm for quite a while now. Over the years, he has tried a lot of different products and brands. While he generally does not suggest people take any supplements, in his recent edition of the daily newsletter ‘Arnold’s Pump Club,’ he revealed a specific supplement that is quite effective, according to him.
Arnold Schwarzenegger suggests a supplement for a healthier brain
Arnold started his newsletter by clearly stating, “We don’t recommend supplements often, but this one has a twist because we’re not talking about a powder or pill.” Continuing further, he revealed in his daily newsletter that the catch is that he is talking about blueberries and not any supplements. He suggested, “Start adding blueberries to your life.” The reason Arnold suggests blueberries is that they consist of “antioxidants that support healthy aging.”

“Research suggests approximately ¾ of a cup of fresh blueberries per day (about 120 grams) can help with your attention, verbal comprehension, and memory retention and recall. There’s also evidence that blueberries help fight dementia and prevent Alzheimer’s,” Schwarzenegger wrote.
Concluding this, Schwarzenegger also pointed out that there must be some reason why respected human performance specialist Dan Garner called blueberries “the best brain supplement in the world.” What might come as a surprise to many, though, is that his son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and his ex-wife, Maria Shriver, have their own venture in this field with MOSH, a brain-health-based protein bar.

The intention of the mother-son duo to start a brand and a product like MOSH was to spread awareness about diseases like Alzheimer’s. The brand is focusing on creating a good market for its product at select retail stores.

Satisfied with his work, Patrick Schwarzenegger wrote on his Instagram story a while ago, “Awesome Day, Proud to continue to grow @moshlife.” MOSH was initiated during the COVID era, making it difficult for Maria Shriver and Patrick to work on it. When the protein bars were available for sale on retail shelves, the “Moxie” actor claimed to make his mother proud.
