Arnold Schwarzenegger was born in Austria two years after World War II ended. As a child, he witnessed how a war could affect a country and its men. Last year, in September, the Austrian Oak visited the Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp and met with Holocaust survivors. The trip moved Arnie.

Months later, Schwarzenegger again preaches the message of tolerance in an interview while promoting his self-help book, “Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life.” Arnie provides a solution for young kids on how to opt for peace over violence.

The Holocaust left an unprecedented mark as a gruesome tale in the world’s history, and the Auschwitz tour in 2022 compelled Arnie to say, “We know people were killed there and exterminated.” At 76, Schwarzenegger is all about equality and tolerance. On the Daily Stoic YouTube channel, the Terminator actor opened up about a way to promote tolerance in young kids.

While touching up Schwarzenegger’s Auschwitz visit, the host opined that “the dark, terrible things that human beings can do to each other are sort of always there beneath the surface,” emphasizing how “people get swept up” with such negativity. But Schwarzenegger has a solution for building a more tolerant society. “That’s why I think it’s important always to educate people, and to talk about this issue, and to have like the Simon Wiesenthal Center, where they have a Museum of Tolerance,” he stressed in the podcast, referring to the LA-based museum.

So, that young people can go and visit this museum and see the atrocities that went on in the history…They see those images, and hopefully those images stick with them, and they walk away and say, ‘Well, we should never go in that direction,‘” Schwarzenegger aspired. However, this isn’t the first time Schwarzenegger has been vocal about his perspective on the heartbreaking incident.

Schwarzenegger prefers love over hatred

The 7x Mr. Olympia has been vocal about his thoughts since the very beginning. Arnie maintains brutal honesty while giving his insights on human welfare. After spending his childhood in the post-war backdrop, Schwarzenegger knew firsthand how a conflict serves no purpose.
