Arnold Schwarzenegger recently took to his daily newsletter, Arnold’s Pump Club, and shared applied research. It talked about effectively reducing the risks of the incurable disease dementia. He begins with the fact that what an individual consumes as a beverage in the morning says a lot about them. Arnie went about highlighting the benefits of drinking coffee and wrote, “Research suggests that people who drink coffee and tea have a 32 percent lower risk of stroke, a 26 percent lower risk of dementia, and a 27 percent lower risk of poststroke dementia.”

Based on research implemented on 500,000 individuals, it has also been found that the antioxidants and anti-inflammatory elements that are present in coffee or tea are the primary source of these benefits. To add to them, these beverages also have compounds that improve blood flow and brain function, which reduces the risk of having a stroke or dementia.

He wrote, “All activity was linked with more heart protection, but when people shifted from lower-intensity exercise to moderate-to-vigorous intensity, they saw about a 14 percent improvement in risk reduction”.
