Katherine Schwarzenegger, the eldest child of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, didn’t just wish her mother on Mother’s Day. The bodybuilding legend’s daughter wished her late grandmother Eunice Kennedy Shriver too, in a heartwarming post. However, she wasn’t the only one. The 68-year-old ex-wife of Arnold wrote a heartfelt tribute in I’ve Been Thinking – The Journal and remembered the day she stumbled upon a gift she had left her. “‘To Maria, Only in Heaven will I love you more.’ – Eunice Kennedy Shriver,” read the message.
“One day when I was tidying up my home, I came across a book inscribed to me by my mother. It included the quote above,” wrote the award-winning journalist. “Upon reading it I immediately burst into tears because I knew its words were true,” added Maria Shriver. Shriver’s passage message moved her 33-year-old daughter. “Happy Mother’s Day to my grandma in heaven,” Katherine wrote in her Instagram story.
Maria revealed that she didn’t even know her mother had left this gift. “It’s now a message that I will cherish in my heart forever,” she wrote. The eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger also shared Maria Shriver’s post about the special edition of The Sunday Paper.
