Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t just a bodybuilding champion, but also a Hollywood star. However, people underestimated his accent since it had a very strong German influence. Nevertheless, he made his name by doing evergreen action movies like Terminator and Conan the Barbarian. The 76-year-old recently featured in a state farm Super Bowl commercial and Danny DeVito was also a part of it. The reunited duo decided to relive ‘Twins’, the 1988 box office smash where they had worked together.
In the latest edition of the newsletter, he mentioned how he was demeaned for his accent, but that is what got him the comedy roles in Hollywood. It is even funnier when you know that agents and producers told me my accent would never make it in Hollywood, and now my accent is the reason for a Super Bowl commercial. Enjoy!”
The Super Bowl ad features Arnold Schwarzenegger playing a state farm employee inside an action film and rescuing puppies and pregnant women from a burning house. However, the bodybuilder was struggling to pronounce the insurance giant tagline, which gave his friend DeVito the ideal process to save the day in a surprise cameo.
