Arnold Schwarzenegger made a successful comeback with FUBAR on Netflix and doesn’t plan to slow down. After announcing an on-screen reunion with Twins (1988) co-star Danny DeVito, Arnie will also team up with Reacher star Alan Ritchson. Ritchson is flying high after his success in Reacher, and fans are already ecstatic about the two action stars sharing the screen.
While Arnold Schwarzenegger is an action cinema legend, Ritchson has followed in the Austrian Oak’s footsteps with Reacher. In fact, the 41-year-old actor even has a similar physique. They share another similarity, as Ritchson will also delve into the comedy genre at the height of his career, just like Arnie did with twins in the 80s. Meanwhile, Arnie will star in his second Christmas comedy.
The pair of action heroes will star in the upcoming Amazon-MGM studio film The Man in The Bag. Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in a Christmas comedy nearly 30 years ago. Jingle All the Way (1996) didn’t make the biggest splash among the critics or audiences at the time of release. However, just like The Last Action Hero (1993), the film has now become a cult classic.

The Austrian Oak will look to replicate the success Jingle All The Way has seen throughout the decades. However, attracting the eyeballs of action cinema fans shouldn’t be an issue as Alan Ritchson’s current popularity seems unstoppable. After the roaring success of Reacher season two, he has already begun filming the next season, and fans cannot wait.
The Man in The Bag will be Alan Ritchson’s first foray into a big-budget comedy film as the lead. He would undoubtedly like to have the luck Schwarzenegger had with his comedy debut with Twins. Although no details of the film have been made public, fans are already hyped for the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson collaboration.

Fans can’t wait for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson starrer
“I don’t need to see a trailer, I’m already in.” said one excited fan on Reddit. “Also, Alan is super d*mn busy right now. Really happy for him. He worked for years with practically no recognition and TMNT damn near ruined his career because of the contracts Paramount had them held under,” added the fans, proving a valuable insight into Ritchson’s struggles before finding stardom.
“If he (Arnold Schwarzenegger) doesn’t tell anyone to put a cookie down I’m not watching it,” commented a fan, referencing the famous Jingle All The Way scene. “As much as I enjoy Jingle All the Way, it shouldn’t be hard to top,” said one fan, echoing what the critics felt about the now cult classic Arnold Schwarzenegger film. “Looks like they should play father and son,” hypothesized a fan. “Good for Alan for getting the opportunity to work alongside a legend like Arnie,” wrote another fan.
