The bodybuilding legend is 75 years old, and yet Arnold Schwarzenegger shows no signs of stopping. With an upcoming documentary on the way, he has recently revealed details from his life in a new video. One such detail was that he now proudly possessed a brand-new luxurious item that could easily range somewhere between $30,000-$60,000. Meanwhile, he also took a sly dig at the biggest bodybuilding competition, Mr. Olympia.

In the middle of his training secrets, Schwarzenegger decides to show off his new watch, an Audemars Piguet. He also reveals that this is the official watch of Arnold’s Classic, but not before slyly mentioning that Olympia doesn’t have their own.

In a recent video by Men’s Health, titled “Arnold Schwarzenegger FINALLY Reveals His Training Secrets”, Schwarzenegger starts off by saying, “Can I tell you something? There is nothing better than the pump”, the same dialogue that he once mentioned in his 1975 documentary film The Pumping Iron. Schwarzenegger has believed and lived by that statement all these years. 45 years later since The Pumping Iron, the Austrian Oak’s delivery still has the same punch.

He said, “I know I’m pumped up because I have my new Audemars Piguet watch on. Arnold Classic Watch”. At this point, he showed his watch to the camera. This isn’t the first time he was showing off his watch. In 2022, he showed his $60,000 worth of watch. It was a large Jacob 18k rose gold of Jacob & Co. Napoleon Quadra Tourbillon.

He continued, “It is the official watch of the Arnold Classic. It just came out, this is the first one. Oops!!! I feel bad because Olympia doesn’t have their own watch.” His humor was on point while taking a dig at the Olympias and also subsequently praising his own namesake’ competition.

The watch is the first of its kind in a bodybuilding competition

Decades after the inaugural Mr. Olympia, the Arnold Classic competition emerged in 1989. While performing high-rep bicep curls, Schwarzenegger proudly showcased his watch, enhancing his pump. Positioned on his left arm, the timepiece sported a predominantly black design with a striking golden section on the dial. The Arnold Classic logo, featuring Schwarzenegger’s iconic sideways pose highlighting his muscular arms and calves, was elegantly engraved on the dial.

After Schwarzenegger took a dig at the Olympias, he went, “Let me just put it back again and not show off”. His humor here was intentional, too. While it may not have its own watch, Olympia still has many sponsors like Asahi, Canon, Google, Toppan, etc.
