Arnold Schwarzenegger is a 7-time Mr Olympia. So there are very few men on the planet who could make him look like a baby. The 6’2” Hollywood star has been the face of bodybuilding and action movies for decades now. Even at the age of 76, he’s still the Terminator! However, there have been others who have dwarfed the former governor of California.
See, the thing is that the Terminator star, throughout his career, has kept himself in the company of some great men. And sometimes, those great men have sometimes, literally towered over him.
Andre The Giant

WWE is the arena that larger-than-life star athletes call home. Its halls are decorated with giants like The Big Show, The Great Khali, Giant Gonalez, Kane, and The Undertaker, among others. They look like mountains when compared to their fans and other athletes. However, there is one legend who makes all of them fall short, including his bodybuilder friend Arnold Schwarzenegger. Andre The Giant is someone who dwarfed everyone he stood well over 7 feet tall and is a WWE Hall of Famer. He was even branded the title of eighth wonder of the world. His huge stature has led to many funny stories from his friends and one of them is from the Austrian Oak.
He met Arnold during his movie stint in Conan the Barbarian. Andre had the role of Dagoth. During the filming of the movie Arnold and he became good friends. They even shared a funny incident at a restaurant where Andre picked him up like a child.

Both the friends often went to restaurants and bars along with Wilt Chamberlain and during their dinners both the giant athletes would debate on who could make Schwarzenegger look tiny and have a hilarious discussion.
Wilt Chamberlain
The NBA legend is 7 feet tall and was in the same movie as Andre where they both befriended Arnold. The seven-time Olympia winner worked with the NBA star on a sequel to Conan the Barbarian. He has previously relayed hilarious tales from the set of Conan the Destroyer and talked about their friendship.
In an interview with the LA Times, Schwarzenegger revealed his feelings about the towering basketball payer when they met in Santa Monica. He said, “I was working out at the original Muscle Beach in Santa Monica, and there was Wilt Chamberlain playing volleyball.”
Schwarzenegger shared, “I would go watch him play when he was on the Lakers and we would work out together at Gold’s Gym.” Arnie also said Andre was the strongest person he knew. “He lifted me with one hard like nothing,” the bodybuilder commented on the NBA star’s strength. However, Chamberlain was not the only NBA star that made Arnold look like a baby.
Shaquille O’Neal
He was easily one of the largest and most famous attractions of the NBA after joining the league in 1992. The tickets for the Orlando Magic Games sold out like hot buns when the LSU standout became the number one pick of the 1992 NBA draft.
The NBS star also wanted to go into the movies and that is when he met Arnie. Arnold is a happy-go-lucky guy and loves to make friends and spend time with people. During an interview, he was asked about an incident where he shared an office with O’Neal. Arnold said, “I wanted to not have a regular real estate office or commercial office with a bank and this and that. So I wanted to bring in entertainers and athletes.”
He also said, “So Shaquille O’Neal was one of the players that came in. So we had to increase the doors, and the toilets and all the stuff had to be increased in size, which we were very happy to do.” Standing at the height of 7’1.” It is no wonder that the rooms and doors needed to be made bigger to accommodate Shaq. Arnie not only had giant friends like Andre, Wilt, and O Neal outside of bodybuilding but one of his rivals was also taller and stronger than him.
Lou Ferrigno
Pumping Iron featured some of the iconic clips from the 1970s era of bodybuilding. It showed Arnold showcasing his peak while Lou Ferrigno also played an important role documentary. Although Arnold had won the title of Mr. Olympia 7 times, Ferrigno was a star in his own right. He weighed 285-295lbs and stood at 6’5″. It’s probably why they never needed CGI for him to play The Hulk.

The Austrian Oak stood at 225-235 lbs and at 6’3″. Schwarzenegger had a chest that measured 57 inches but Ferrigno had a mammoth chest of 59 inches. They might not have been very different in height or strength but Ferrigno was bulkier than Arnie.

Ferrigno got the role of Hulk due to his immense size and worked in moves just like his rival and friend Arnold. So, Arnie might be one of the strongest athletes and personalities but some of his friends were taller and stronger making him look tiny. However, all of them share a great relationship and the greatest stars became friends with each other giving the rest of the world a run for their money.
