IFBB pro bodybuilder Brandon Curry is one of the most reputed and respected names in the realm of modern bodybuilding. Standing and winning on the biggest stage of bodybuilding in the world, Curry proved his potential back in 2019 when he won the Mr. Olympia title. He maintains an active social media presence and posts updates from his life on Instagram frequently.
As Brandon Curry is currently preparing for the much-awaited Mr. Olympia 2023, he recently shared a clip from his personal life where his son can be seen playing football. Despite not walking on the same road as his father, Brandon seems to be proud of his kid.

Curry, who is married to Brandy Leaver, has four kids. In his recent Instagram post, Curry posted his son Maximus Curry’s clip from a football match. The 13-year-old plays for the Blackman Youth Football team as a linebacker or running back. Posting clips of Maximus tackling as well as catching a pass, Brandon appreciated his son in the caption.

He wrote, “I see you 6!!! Way to play like a CHAMP @maximuscurry. Like the saying goes, big-time players make big-time plays! You’ve always been good for that!” He continued by thanking the man behind the camera for taking such good videos. “Shout out to the homie @desh2t @letsball for his talents behind the lens,” Curry wrote.

Even though Maximus has no plans to compete in bodybuilding as of now, he did start his weight training journey a while back with a professional trainer.
Maximus Curry’s plans for the future
It can be joyful for a father when his son takes up his hobbies and passions. Even though Maximus has no such plans of stepping into the realm of competitive bodybuilding right now, he did start his weight training sessions last year, back in December 2022.

Posting a video of his son, Curry revealed that Maximus is training under a speed/agility, strength, and conditioning coach at Beasley Elite Sports Training. The caption of the post read, “12-year-old muscle…let the weight training begin! He’s waited until now to pick up the iron…let’s see where it leads. The homie @beasley_elite_sports_training is gonna get him right!”

During the last few weeks before a competition, athletes often get frustrated and spend less time with their families. On the contrary, the video came as proof that Curry is spending enough time with his loved ones, too. While this can prove to be helpful by keeping his stress levels low, only time will tell what it has planned for Curry.
