Tyler Pathradecha recently enlightened his followers about the three most important aspects of doing Preacher curls, which will help prevent causing a bicep tear. The number one aspect according to the influencer, was control. He stated that it is very important to have good control of the movement and not go beyond your capacity while engaging in the exercise.

He even advises to begin with a higher range of rep, and then gradually increase the weight. Adding to the second point, he talks about the importance of stability. Pathradecha talked about people weren’t concerned about stability while doing these curls, “They’re really not doing anything with the rest of the body. Maybe everything else is loose..”

He says that getting as much stability as possible. And then he comes down to having a good focus on the eccentric control. He concludes the video by saying that if one keeps all three factors in mind, preacher curls are one of the best exercises for the biceps.
