Arnold Schwarzenegger is spreading his fitness wisdom through his newsletter, Arnold’s Pump Club. The 76-year-old prioritized his health throughout his life and now is determined to build the world’s biggest fitness community. Arnie’s newsletter editions touch upon various aspects of well-being with a special focus on diet and workouts. 

In his latest edition, the fitness icon speaks about a unique way to prevent an incurable disease that his friend and co-actor, Bruce Willis, is suffering from. 

Arnold’s Pump Club sheds light on Dementia

Dementia is a common problem among the elderly but often disrupts the daily course of life. So, in his latest newsletter edition, the bodybuilding icon stressed upon the importance of Vitamin D in preventing Dementia. Revealing the findings of a study on over 12,000 people, Schwarzenegger wrote, “Vitamin D supplementation was associated with living longer without dementia and a lower risk of developing dementia.”

While raising hope in his village by offering a simple trick to prevent dementia, Schwarzenegger didn’t completely overrule the occurrence. While adding that people with the APOE ε4 allele gene did not see major benefit from Vitamin D, the newsletter stated, “The researchers believe this simply shows that more Vitamin D does not help you overcome a higher genetic risk.”

But Schwarzenegger persuaded over half a million subscribers of Arnold’s Pump Club to get their daily dose of vitamin D. He also suggested sunbathing for 15 minutes daily to get Vitamin D naturally. Arnie, who has seen his close buddy suffering from Frontotemporal Dementia, knows how dementia can deteriorate life.

The Terminator icon maintained friendly relations with people whom he came across during his journey as a bodybuilding icon and actor. So, when he learned 68-year-old Bruce Willis was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia, he was first to offer unconditional help.

Bruce Willis’ family and friends are striving hard to handle the situation while doing their best to keep him happy.
