But his latest post involves him complaining about the gas prices in California. “Gas prices are absurd right now,” he wrote in his latest tweet. According to Forbes Advisor, the gas price for the last week was $5.89 per Gallon in California, much higher than the national average of $3.83 per gallon.
California tops the list of states with the highest gas prices of late. The 30-year-old has a point to lament about it. However, his Terminator dad skips the trouble as he owns an electric Hummer, which supports Arnie’s environmental cause. Despite having an envious collection of Hummers back in the day, Arnold Schwarzenegger gave up his love for cars for his responsibility towards the environment.

Why did Arnold Schwarzenegger shift to an electric version?
The 7x Mr. Olympia is always fascinated with things that reflect strength and power. The ripped physique of Reg Park inspired him to lift weights. When Arnie was shooting for Kindergarten Cop, he was awestruck with the military-grade Humvee. “I mean, it was big, it was unique, and it was something that was larger than him,” his agent, Lou Pitts, once said, as per Vox.

But while serving as Governor, he was influenced by the environmental cause. So, the $450 Million worth Governator, who owned a massive car collection till then, chose to bid goodbye, given the cars’ huge gas consumption. In 2006, he sold six of his seven Hummers and now owns an eco-friendly electric version.
