A popular page dedicated to the Golden Era bodybuilders took the initiative to share a post for the icon on his birthday. The note in the caption for the athlete left the fans emotional and content upon hearing the good news. Therefore, several fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the instance.

Albert Beckles celebrates his 93rd birthday

Only hours ago, the page took to Instagram to add another update on one of the golden era greats, Albert Beckles. The 15th of July marked his 93rd birthday, which drew riveting comparisons with the present generation of athletes. “A living legend. One of my biggest inspirations EVER,” the caption hinted.

A few days ago, the bodybuilding world was shaken after the sudden death of notable fitness influencer and bodybuilder Jo Lindner, aka Joesthetics, surfaced. He died of an aneurysm at 30. Following this news was the drowning death of 30-year-old Romanian athlete Catalin Stefanescu in a lake.

However, that was not even all for the heartwrenching updates. The latest news of prominent bodybuilding icon Gustavo Bafell passing away owing to heart issues left the community in disbelief. Therefore, fans flocked to the birthday post for Beckles with similar comparisons. They pondered over the young bodybuilders dying, whereas a 93-year-old legend is still in impressive form.

The post displayed a couple of intriguing pictures of the former Mr. Universe posing with IFBB greats like Lee Haney and Tom Platz. His superior conditioning urged them to rethink the lifestyles of the current generation of athletes.
