Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger’s current relationship with Heather Milligan has persistently been the media’s focus. After hitting it off in 2013, the couple has been inseparable ever since. From going on dates in Santa Monica to attending public events together, they have left no room for speculation. Moreover, Arnold brought up their relationship in multiple interviews and expressed his pride for Heather.

Rumored to have bonded over their common dedication to staying in shape, the couple can now be seen together in public events as well. 

Interestingly, Milligan also has prior work experience with MMA star Connor McGregor. After the latter shared a picture with his longtime physical therapist on Instagram, news came to light that Milligan is working with Gregor to recover from the tibia and fibula fracture in his lower leg. This was after his match with Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264. 

Milligan is also a former competitive gymnast

Arnold and Heather are more alike than opposites. The California native was a former competitive gymnast and her athletic persona gives it away. Before founding her own company, Milligan competed as a gymnast for 20 years. However, her work is not limited to the sport’s domain. She deals with clients from professional boxing, MMA, NFL, NBA, MLB, Tennis, Figure skating, Volleyball, and many others.

The media first spotted Arnold and Milligan together back in 2013, and the glimpses have not stopped ever since. The sightings occurred after Arnold’s 25-year-long marriage with ex-wife Maria Shriver, ended in 2011, owing to the actor’s love affair and child with their housemaid, Mildred Baena. Arnold and Maria’s divorce was finalized only in 2021, however, Arnie had long moved on with his current girlfriend, who is 28 years younger than him. 

Although Milligan only has a few posts with Arnold on Instagram, she does not shy away from stepping out in public with the Hollywood star. As per reports, among the couple’s primary public appearances was the Environmental Media Awards in October 2014, followed by the Goldene Kamera reception in February 2015.

Speaking of his girlfriend in an esteemed interview, Arnie did not hesitate to confess his love and admiration for Heather. When asked if he missed being married, Arnold explained his ordeal with the divorce. Nevertheless, he claimed to have moved on, and is deeply in love with his “wonderful girlfriend.” Additionally, hinting at Heather’s professional success, Arnie revealed that she is thriving in her field, which fills him with pride.

Going strong as a couple with 10 years under their belt already, Arnie’s kids too have embraced their father’s relationship. As evidence, Milligan was spotted with the star’s kids on different occasions. Sources claim the physical therapist was clicked with Arnie and son Patrick at the ‘GQ Men Of The Year Awards’, in November 2017. Likewise, the following year, Arnie’s eldest daughter Katherine, and son-in-law Chris Pratt, accompanied the couple at FIG restaurant in Santa Monica, California. Besides that, the former athlete’s youngest child, Christopher also enjoyed a drink with his father and Milligan at the 2022 Oktoberfest in Germany.

While dating seems all good for the couple, there’s still no firm talk about any wedding plans in the future. Presumably, Arnold’s expensive divorce could be a solid reason for him being wary of any marriage plans. After Terminator Dark Fate was released in 2019, the $450 million actor was asked about his thoughts on a second marriage, per reports.

Thus, the 76-year-old star quoted his late mother, Aurelia Schwarzenegger’s viewpoint on a second marriage. “I [asked her], ‘If you meet somebody else, are you gonna get married again?’ She says, ‘Nope. There was only your father, whose underwear I washed. I’m not going to wash another guy’s underwear,” Arnold recalled in an interview once. Therefore, the actor firmly denied the rumors of his wedding with Heather anytime soon, saying, “So I say exactly the same thing.”

Despite all the ups and downs, it is impressive to see Arnold and Heather walk hand-in-hand for a decade now. While the expectations of marriage do not seem to get to the couple, only time will tell if their plans change.
