Greg recently took to YouTube and talked about the energy drink, claiming that the email shared by Logan to promote the drink was a?“fluke”. The IFBB pro coach started the video by saying,?”Logan Paul decided to post what a dad of a 9-year-old said about Prime Hydration energy drinks.?And in his post, he tagged Derek from Derek More Plates More Dates, who criticized the drink for its ingredients, and said, “He is?a straight vir***??and so Logan Paul is using the story to sell more of the Prime Energy drinks.”?Now where does Derek of?‘More Plates, More Dates’?fame come from in this whole ordeal? Well, the YouTuber known for his fitness videos decided to slam Logan?s drink and expose the harmful effects it has on kids.
Greg Doucette seems to be on Derek?s side. He said in the video that according to the 9-year-old’s father,?“Ethan had been suffering from headaches, nausea, weakness, and other signs of dehydration even though drinking plenty of liquids throughout the day.?This had severely impacted his school and sports.”?According to Ethan?s father, after drinking the Prime Energy drink, his headache was gone, and his health seemed to improve instantly. Greg then explained,?“Now remember, the kid may have just been dehydrated, not drinking enough water, and just drinking the water was the solution.“
Doucette, who always gives statists to prove his point, said further that Prime is an overdosed amount of potassium and extremely low in sodium. The father of the 9-year-old boy researched and saw Derek?s videos. He said the allegations by Derek were false about Prime. Greg Doucette had something to say about that.
Greg Doucette explains the dangers of Prime Energy drinks for kids and even adults
Per Doucette, Prime drinks can dehydrate a person for a competition, just like distilled water does. However, claiming that the energy drink rehydrates is wrong, according to Doucette. Prime Energy drink is dangerous according to the bodybuilder. There is potassium in the drink, which is a component found in bananas, potatoes, and so on. But food intake causes a slow delivery of that potassium. However, if it is in liquid form, as in the case of Prime, it gets absorbed into the bloodstream easily.

According to the bodybuilder, when there are low potassium levels in the body, medical practitioners give something called K-Dur. But Prime increases the potassium level to 1.8 times as much as 1 K Dur. This is very aggressive for the body, especially for a 9-year-old child, and can cause cardiac arrhythmia or hyperkalemia.
