Larry Wheels is a powerhouse and is also an indelible name when it comes to the world of bodybuilding. However, recently he has gone through a topsy-turvy road in his career. He fell prey to rhabdomyolysis and has realized what his body is worth. The powerlifter turned bodybuilder is now getting back on track, hitting the gym, and taking slow steps.
Wheels is a multi talented figure in the realms of the sport and has set two exceptional world records for himself, one lifting 2171 pounds in 2017 and another 2275 pounds combined deadlift, back squat, and bench press in 2018.
Larry Wheels gets back to the gym

Larry Wheels recently took to his official Instagram account and shared a story of himself where he is seen hitting it hard at the gym. He was doing an intense session of arm workout and in his story, he was seen doing a set of concentration curls. Wheels is finally back at what he loves the most and this is what makes the fitness community happy.
In the story, he wrote, “85LB CONCENTRATION CURLS. GREAT ACCESSORY FOR ARM WRESTLING.THIS WILL STRENGTHEN YOUR DEFENSIVE HOOK“. He easily pulled off five reps of concentration curls quite easily with his right hand. The pump on his biceps is a testament of the intense workout that he has been at.

In the next story, he was pulling off the curls with his left bicep, which he had torn. While it looked a little difficult for him to pull off, he managed to do five clean reps of concentration curls. In the next story, he shared a video of him bench pressing an impressive weight.

In his next story, Wheels shared a video from the official Instagram handle of PR Lifestyle @teampersonalrecord where he was seen steadily getting back with the iron rods, getting closer to his personal records. In the video, he was seen pulling off 3 clean reps of 495 lbs bench press with no support.

In the caption, they wrote, “495 x 3 Using the PR gear 💪”. Although there was a bit of difficulty while he was trying to get back at it, but looks like there is no hurdle big enough to drag the powerlifter down.
