The tenacious bodybuilding icon had humble beginnings. However, unfazed by the challenges, like a true athlete, the mass monster pushed through all the upheavals in his path to lift the Sandow trophy four times.

Cutler has maintained his relevance in present times by creating engaging and honest content on social media. The multifaceted personality has also undertaken many business ventures with success. Earlier, Cutler posted a story on social media that showed the hard-working bodybuilder splurging a little to enjoy his success.

Taking to Instagram, the bodybuilding legend posted a story carousel. He posted a picture of his new top-of-the-line luxury buy, Louis Vuitton shades, which may cost up to $520. He also built up anticipation for the upcoming Masters Olympia (August 2023). Master Olympia was envisaged as a platform for the older generation of bodybuilders to display their charisma on stage. The competition is returning after 11 years. There was a lot of buzz surrounding Cutler’s participation in the event. However, the Arnold Classic winner said he would represent bodybuilding as a sport but not compete in the event.

Cutler is focusing on his myriad business ventures, including ‘Cutler Nutrition and his Podcast Channel. The 49-year-old bodybuilder has started a series on YouTube called Fit for 50 Challenge, where he strives to get in his best physical shape before he hits the half-century mark. The Comeback Kid is raking in the moolah through his social media ventures and offline businesses despite retiring from the stage in 2013. His net worth, according to various sources, stands at a whopping $30 million. These high-ticket purchases are a reminder of the hard work Cutler continues to put in every day. However, money was not one of the things he had in his childhood.

Once again, Former Mr. Olympia opened up about his chequered past. He appeared in a podcast, ‘Straight Outta the Lair with Flex Lewis,‘ to talk about his yesteryears. Cutler mentioned that his parents divorced when he was four years old was particularly challenging for him. From then on, his money troubles started with seven mouths to feed and only one breadwinner. The Quad Stomper worked at a construction company at the tender age of eleven to share some responsibilities in the household.

Even during his first bodybuilding event, the NPC Iron Bodies Invitational show, Cutler was “broke.” He added, “I was broke. I was working just miscellaneous, just doing like security and whatever else. I think I was actually working on a golf course doing maintenance at this point, um, because I was just trying to fund like my chicken breast, yeah, and whatever.”

However, Jay Cutler’s resilience and hard work paid off. His massive physique impressed the judges, and there, the menacing Quad Stomper found his true calling.
