Bodybuilding sensation Rubiel Mosquera took the fitness sphere by storm last year. The bodybuilder became the center of attraction thanks to his monstrous size and thick neck. His unique mass monster proportions earned him the name Neckzilla, and he proved his mettle on the EVLS Prague stage. However, since then, the bodybuilder has pulled out of multiple contests.

The 2023 EVLS Prague Pro/Amateur contest was a highlight for Mosquera. Neckzilla secured his IFBB Pro card at the prestigious contest. Days later, he stood next to 2023 Mr. Olympia bronze medalist Samson Dauda, fellow mass monster Michal Križo Križánek, and other elite bodybuilders. However, Mosquera finally seems ready to step on stage at the upcoming Dubai Pro in his latest update.

Shortly after his success in Prague, Neckzilla joined arguably the greatest Arnold Classic roster. The Arnold Classic invited Columbian mass monster to participate alongside 2022 Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan. Mosquera would also get a chance to have a rematch against Samson Dauda. However, earlier this year, the bodybuilding sensation pulled out of the contest.

While many thought he would compete in the UK edition of the Arnold Classic 2024, he withdrew yet again. Following these withdrawals, news surfaced that Rubiel Mosquera planned to participate in this year’s New York Pro but silently shelved those plans as well. However, Neckzilla nows looks quite shredded about five and a half weeks ahead of the Dubai Pro.

“Monday. First day of the week starts with a lot of energy,” wrote the bodybuilding sensation as he showed off his shoulders and arms in the latest physique update. While the bodybuilder didn’t mention anything about the Dubai Pro, fans also noticed that he has been making steady improvements while training at the Oxygen Gym in Kuwait.

Neckzilla impressed fans once again

“Your aesthetics have improved 1000% brother, very good,” wrote one bodybuilding fan. Another fan who had seen Neckzilla in person also noticed the improvements. “I remember when I had seen Mosquera at Cali(fornia), I said that man is amazing… I have seen every day he is improving… The Olympia is waiting for you bro,” commented the bodybuilding fan.
