A little boy was gifted Hulk Hogan branded dumbbells at the age of six during his birthday, and that became the first step for him toward bodybuilding. At the young age of six, Brandon Curry dreamt of becoming a muscular superhero. Now, after 24 years, he stands at the pinnacle of success as an IFBB pro, having won the Arnold Classic and the 2019 Mr. Olympia titles. The bodybuilder from Nashville took part in 24 professional bodybuilding competitions and he continues to compete even at the age of 40.

The 15th man in history to become Mr. Olympia is also a family man without any controversies. The 40-year IFBB pro recently had a chat withMuscle and Fitness’ and talked about his plans to come back for his 10th, Mr. Olympia. Let?s see what his fans can expect.

The article showcased 10 questions with Brandon Curry and the interview was taken by Roger ?ROCK? Lockridge, who is a veteran fitness writer. The first question that Roger asked the IFBB pro was about his first ever Olympia to the 10th Olympia that he will be competing in, this year.

Brandon a.k.a ?Prodigy? replied, ?The first one (2011), I was just trying to take it all in. I was just enjoying the experience, anticipating what was going to go down because I didn?t know what to expect. I was just happy to be there, learning the ropes, watching, observing, and I hoped I would do well. Now, I?m much more comfortable, I know what to expect, and I expect to do well. I?m much more mature now, but it?s still the big show, and I?m still going to try and bring my best.?

After years of attending the event and winning Mr. Olympia in 2019, Brandon is not a novice anymore and knows what to expect. The man who almost lost his life in the gym is going to grace the Olympia stage once more and might win the title again.??

Brandon defeats bodybuilders and also overcomes a dangerous accident

In 2019, which was one of the luckiest years for Curry, he trained day and night in the gym to chase his first Olympia title. However, he might have taken the training too far because it was going to cost him both the title and his life.

Fortunately, he was unharmed and went on to win the Mr. Olympia title the same year. Recalling the incident with Barbend.com, Curry said, ?Yes, just yesterday during my final exercise, I pull a machine over on top of myself. Once the stack got up so high it made the machine too heavy, as I was performing overhead triceps extensions. Thank God I walked away uninjured just a bump and scrap.?

After escaping a fatal accident by a hairline, Curry also added, ?Life is uncertain. Things can be going great one second and not so great the other. God is always in control of it all and what can be seen as bad is often for our good. We can?t allow ourselves to get so focused on the life we forget about the life giver.? However, he overcame the frightening accident and won the title.
