This had a severe effect on his body, as the right side of his body got virtually paralyzed. Unable to walk, he was on bed rest for two months and in intense pain. Thus, he eventually retired from bodybuilding in 1996. However, that was not the end of his successful endeavors, in fact, the beginning.?

Over time, he set up his own nutrition supplement business, Gaspari Nutrition, and charted his path to a successful life. Fast forward to the present: the athlete is mindful of his health and updates his fans with regular workout videos, similar to his recent post on Instagram.?

As per the post on Instagram, the American pro revealed that he never takes time off from workouts, or going to the gym even when he is traveling. Therefore, he shared a video of him performing an intense upper body workout at the Gold?s Gym in Milan, Italy. He donned a black T-shirt flashing his last name in white.

Gaspari?s expressions indicated the high intensity of the workout, as he exclaimed in exhaustion. Whereas his caption for the Monday motivation stated, ?hitting back at the @goldsgymitaly Milan. The star athlete has been sleeplessly traveling around the world for the past two weeks and a range of time zones in different nations. However, he never fails to manage time for his workouts. Similar to the instance, the 1989 Arnold Classic winner shared another intriguing workout on his social media.?

Taking to his Instagram once again, the athlete once shared a video of him pulling weighted shrugs to condition his trapezius or trap muscles, which lie around the neck base. Gaspari was using a cage bar to work those muscles. Surprisingly, he put up three plates on either side of the cage bar, peculiar to his age, raising eyebrows on the internet.?

?Always loved shrugs to hit my traps. Here I?m using a cage bar to hit my traps directly and doing a drop set three times to really hit them deep. Give it a try!? he wrote in the caption of his post. Fans were enthralled by his feat and hailed the former icon under the post.?
