Apart from severe dieting and intense training sessions, there are a ton of other complications that a bodybuilder goes through while preparing for a bodybuilding show. As this year’s Mr. Olympia is around the corner, athletes from all over the globe who have qualified for the show are packing their luggage and are about to land in Orlando where the contest is going to take place.

Unfortunately, several athletes are facing issues getting their US visas due to political disputes. Despite Mr. Olympia LLC trying their best, many athletes from Iran continue to face visa-related issues. While the current open class champion Hadi Choopan overcame the obstacle after multiple attempts himself, Behrooz Tabani, who is trained by IFBB Pro Milos Sarcev, is currently facing the same troubles this year again. Sarcev’s recent Instagram post confirmed that Tabani’s chance of competing this year is next to impossible now.

Serbian bodybuilding legend Milos Sarcev had an immensely successful bodybuilding career himself. Competing with the likes of Jay Cutler and Kevin Levrone in his prime years, Sarcev has continued to coach athletes ever since he announced his retirement. Romani Pro champion Behrooz Tabani is also currently training under Sarcev, who has tried his best to ensure that Tabani gets his visa as soon as possible. Unfortunately, he confirmed via a recent Instagram post that the chances of Tabani competing are slim now.

Posting a picture of Behrooz hitting a front double bicep, Sarcev wrote in the caption, “There are almost no chances for @behrouz_tabani to get the US visa now. I guess Monday would be the last day …and that means he will probably miss this year’s Mr Olympia (again !).”

A bodybuilder spends a ton of time and money while preparing for a bodybuilding show. There can be nothing more heartbreaking for an athlete than not being able to compete at the last moment due to issues that are not even in his control. However, Sarcev and Tabani are not letting their efforts go to waste. Tabani would be participating in the upcoming European shows, according to his coach.

“He is now planning to do both European shows post Olympia. Defend his title in Romania and try to get the invitation to compete at the @evls_prague_pro_official – and of course visa,” Sarcev disclosed.
