The writers’ and actors’ unions started protesting against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers on July 14. The AMPTP made decisions affecting writers and failed to negotiate a contract with the SAG-AFTRA. The strike affected countless actors and writers. However, after failed negotiations, some positive news has surfaced, and Patrick Schwarzenegger is elated. Earlier, the actor took to social media to share the update.

However, despite being happy about his show, the 30-year-old was also worried about the situation involving the WGA, SAG-AFTRA, and AMPTP. However, the?bodybuilding?icon’s son is now looking forward to the future.

Earlier, the Midnight Sun actor took to social media. Schwarzenegger shared a?post by Variety Magazine on his Instagram story.?“Hollywood heaves a sigh of relief. The WGA and major studios and streamers have reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract that promises to end the 146-day strike,”?read the post.

A picture with the title?“Write On”?also accompanied the post. However, on Instagram, Patrick Schwarzenegger didn’t add any words. Meanwhile,?on X (Twitter), the Gen V actor wrote?“LETS GO”?while sharing the update. However, his action cinema icon father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, remains silent on the strike. Yet he has silently done his part for the protesting actors and writers.

The True Lies actor joined Dwyane Johnson, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Reynold, Blake Lively, and more to donate a combined $10 million to the actors’ and writers’ unions. Few people in the industry know what it feels like to struggle for the right to do what they love, as Schwarzenegger does. Hence,?the actor took action to help?people who fought for their rights for five months without pay.
