The biggest fear of any bodybuilding icon, actor, athlete, or even a person in their day-to-day lives, is getting hurt or injured. This fear becomes more prominent with age because the ability to be active is expected to become lower. This notion was something that Mark Bell wanted to eradicate. The best bodybuilder, and powerlifters of all time who is in the top 10, sat down with Nsima Inyang, and Andrew Zargosa to talk about how the age-related myth of getting injured is wrong.

In episode 979, they conversed about what truly caused Kevin Hart to get injured recently which he received while sprinting. The trio also talked about how to prevent injuries and be able to stay fit even at an older age.

In the podcast, Bell started by talking about Kevin Hart and how he injured his leg while sprinting with a friend. Kevin Hart uploaded a video on Instagram narrating the same incident and said that the age of 40 is real. He also explains how people should respect this age, because this age will make them humble. Hart then revealed that he was sitting in a wheelchair. He explained that he tried to, “ Jump out there and do some young stuff.” Kevin Hart and Stevan Ridley, a former NFL player 10 years younger than him had a debate on who could run faster. That is when they sprinted and Kevin Hart ended up in a wheelchair.

Bell disagreed with one point that Kevin Hart said in the video. He said, “Personally I don’t think it has anything to do with age because there are a lot of people doing a lot of things add really high levels that are older than 40.” He also took Brad Kern’s name and said, “ He participates in like high jump.”

After running with the NFL player, the actor and comedian realized that he should not have challenged former Patriots running back Stevan Ridley since he was a professional person, who knew how to run.
