However, in the process of this vain understanding, one forgets that bodybuilding is ultimately a contest of exhibiting the aesthetics of the body, which is not defined only by the insane amount of muscle in one’s body. The wellness of the bodybuilders, when questioned, becomes so imbalanced that it gets concerning.
Tyler Manion, the vice President of NPC, shared a brief video on the Wellness Division, depicting the significance of the dos and don’ts of stereotypical bodybuilding. Manion had a supporter in IFBB Pro coach Greg Doucette who voiced his opinion on the concern.

After Manion uploaded his video on his Instagram account, he received several responses from eminent personalities in the community. Among these, IFBB Pro coach Greg Doucette contributed something really important. In the comments he wrote for the concerned bodybuilders, “Hopefully people see this and stop getting into the extreme amounts of muscle and drug abuse that?s going on in the sport to achieve these extreme looks”.

Furthermore, he also sheds light on what defines wellness. He stated without hesitation, which might in fact raise a few sets of eyebrows, “Wellness was not created to be a bodybuilding competition for women with hair extensions and breast implants.” Tyler Manion briefly explained what wellness really stood for, and how readily it differs from what people think it is.

In the video, Manion explains that Wellness is the only division that doesn’t require any symmetry. He explores the various elements that are actually needed in this branch, which includes an hourglass body. Manion also warns the contestants, “Just adding and adding size to your legs is not the way to go” Then he gives a fine tip. Manion recorded, “You still need to sculpt your body into wellness through a wellness physique.”

The fitness world is not based on only one hard and fast rule. It has a fluid system that, if taken seriously, can be well understood.
