Bodybuilding legend Samson Dauda, widely regarded as the Nigerian Lion, could not grab the title at the Mr. Olympia 2023. However, after coming in at third place, he has recently gone on a winning streak. He managed to bag the first position in the prestigious EVLS Prague Pro this year.

Well, the entire Bodybuilding community is convinced that this is what the prowess of a true winner must be. And it is not just the fitness world, even IFBB coach Milos Sarcev believes that Dauda truly is the epitome of strength and power.

Milos Sarcev compliments Samson Dauda on his win

One of the bodybuilding fan pages took to their official Instagram account, @elliotrobinsonfitness, and shared a story posting a picture where the Nigerian Lion was posing, in black and white. In the story, they wrote, “This is Bodybuilding. Absolutely world-class,” referring to Samson Dauda.

The Serbian Coach, Milos Sarcev, shared the story on his own Instagram account, and added his comment, “The definition of ‘less is more’ in a pose. This is the ART of bodybuilding.” He further went on to talk about how effortlessly Samson Dauda managed to lure the judges and audience with his aesthetically pleasing physique.

He added, “Exactly how it used to be in the Golden Era.” Well, Samson Dauda does have a lot of traits in common with those of the Golden Era. Unlike the modern age Bodybuilders, he is into the sport not to win competitions, but primarily to promote it.

Milos Sarcev once even shared a snippet from one of his podcasts on his Instagram account, and in the caption wrote, “Why is @samson_dauds competing?” Before the Olympia, Dauda asked Sarcev about competing at the Romania in Prague. Then, he said, “You’re asking the guy that competed 110 times I always welcome competitions. According to the IFBB Coach, Dauda also added that he wanted to go and promote bodybuilding, even if he won or lost at the Mr. Olympia.

The Serbian Coach was immensely impressed with the response he got from the champ. He saw a reflection of bodybuilding legends from the Golden Era like Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler, who also used to participate in promoting the sport.
