A riveting fact about the bodybuilder turned Hollywood star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is that he doesn’t own a phone. He has previously hinted at his detachment from technology and prefers life the old-fashioned way, and the same aspect was confirmed, after his son, Patrick, revealed in an interview that his father goes on about his life without a cell phone in his possession. Having passed on similar genes, his eldest daughter, Katherine, recently confessed to a similar trait of her that is surprisingly alike to her old-school dad.

In an interview with Nikki and Brie on YouTube, the author opened up about her relationship with technology, particularly TVs. 

Like father like daughter

The interview surfaced on Friday, featuring the two hosts, Nikki and Brie, engrossed in a candid conversation with the 33-year-old, virtually. While the hosts chatted about the current TV shows they were binge-watching, Katherine opened up about not being tech-savvy. Intrigued by their remarks on the shows, she revealed, “Oh my god, I really need to watch it then. I’m still trying to get through the last season of Yellowstone because I started it in October.”

Moreover, she began watching it with her star husband, Chris Pratt and shared an adorable insight about their relationship. Katherine continued, “once you start a show together, you need to wait for the other person to be back to watch it, but he’s been traveling, and he’s actually home now for the first time for a long period of time.” Although, that was also not the only thing that was holding her back from completing the series.

“So I feel like we could watch it, but I actually don’t even know how to turn on like any of the TVs in our house,” she said. The statement sparks memories from her brother’s confession about their father, who keeps himself aloof from all things tech. Likewise, Katherine has a hard time finding her way around the latest TV developments, which are probably too advanced for her. Whereas, speaking of Patrick’s confession about his father, he had a hilarious conclusion on the matter. 

Why Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t own a phone?

Talking to guest host, Sean Hayes on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 29-year-old actor discussed numerous topics from his life. This encouraged a question that which one of his parents texted him more. Responding to that, Patrick revealed that his $450 million worth father does not own a phone.

Though, he does have a phone, an old-fashioned flip cell that he seldom uses. He once bought it with his own money and had kept a few of his contacts on speed dial, whose numbers he’d already memorized.  “He refuses to text. He only does the iPad FaceTime,” the star kid shared. That’s not all, he hilariously iterated a conclusion of his own and said, “I think his thumbs are too big for the phone or something.”

A true instance of like father-like daughter, Katherine’s struggle with high-tech things goes way back to her 75-year-old parent.
