Even after almost a decade since his retirement from the sport, Cutler still works out daily and even transformed his physique ahead of his 50th birthday, which was on 3rd August. His ‘Fit for 50’ transformation came in handy as he was invited as the special guest at the Master’s Olympia, which will be held from August 25th to August 27th in Romania. The post revealed Cutler’s arrival at the show venue as he was seen in a picture with Mr. Olympia’s owner, Jake Wood, and head judge Steve Weinberger.

The stark height difference between Cutler and others was a bit fascinating to witness. John Woods stands tall at 6 foot 6 inches whereas Cutler is 5 foot 7 inches tall. The caption of the post read, “4 time Mr Olympia Jay Cutler, Olympia Owner Jake Wood and Mr Olympia Head Judge Steve Weinberger in Romania for @mastersolympiaofficial @jaycutler @jake_wood_media @bevsgym @ifbb_pro_league #mastersolympia #mastersolympia2023.”
While there were speculations about Cutler’s participation in Master’s Olympia earlier this year, there was a very logical explanation as to why he did not register for the contest.
Cutler’s coach discloses the reason behind this
Jay Cutler’s coach back in the day was Chris Aceto, who guided him to several titles in bodybuilding. However, both Cutler and Aceto have very strong feelings when it comes to the Master’s Olympia contest. In an interview with Dave Palumbo, Aceto disclosed why he is against the contest.

Aceto said, “Oh God, stop promoting that Masters Olympia. I want to pull the plug on it the more I think of it.” Talking about Cutler’s chances of participating in the contest, he further added, “Never. Not even a–on a scale of 1-10, it doesn’t register in his brain for doing a masters show or any show. No. I’m sure his take is the same as mine. That’s why I rant on the Olympia.” What are your views on this? Let us know in the comments.
