Dana Shemesh made her debut in the world of bodybuilding a decade ago, at the age of 35, when she became Miss Fitness Israel and also the first and only female to have bagged the title of an IFBB Pro athlete. Due to several reasons from accomplishing her goal to win in various IFBB Pro events to taking a break, she announced her retirement in 2020.

However, she recently announced that she has decided on revising her decision and will be seen competing in the Master Olympia 2023, which will be held in the month of August. Being selected as a contender for the same, she expresses herself by saying, “This is a dream; a lifetime opportunity that I simply couldn’t let pass. It’s a huge honor to be selected and qualified to the biggest stage of bodybuilding in the world and as the first and only Israeli woman to compete on this stage.” She recently took to her social media platform and posted her prep training to fulfill her dream after her comeback.

Transformation Tuesday for Shemesh

The Israeli IFFB Pro athlete shares her transformation journey over the past decade. She shares a collage of four pictures of herself where she has grabbed the first prize in several competitions. She is tremendously excited to get back at the game and is definitely eyeing the trophy. Giving her transformation journey and flexing it to her fans, she says, “Life is a great journey don’t be afraid to choose your own path and be whoever you wanna be! Be patient and enjoy your ride!! 💪😅”

The only key to reaching your goals according to Dana Shemesh is by having faith in yourself and trusting the process. She says, “It doesn’t matter what everyone says and thinks about you, as long as you believe in yourself and in your dreams, nothing else matters!” Adding to this, she also talks about being focused and clear about what your goal is. She says, “Be focused 💯 Do the work and you will accomplish them! #becomittedtoyourgoals”

She is excited and nervous at the same time to announce her comeback. Apart from everything else, she also thanks her followers on the post for giving out their support to her. Dana for Master’s Olympia

Dana Shemesh will be seen competing in the Master’s Olympia in August in the Women’s Bodybuilding division. She puts words to her emotions saying, “I’m a big girl with a big dream”. She is certain that she took a huge leap of faith and a big challenge having decided to compete in the league, but she is also certain that she can do it. She said, “Never stopped lifting weights; bodybuilding is my passion and my lifestyle.”
