With 2023 in the rearview mirror and 2024 already getting a promising start, the bodybuilding community has high hopes for the sport in the coming months. There are a lot of bodybuilding events that are coming up in the whole year of 2024. First is IFBB contests, the schedules for which had already been released on December 18th, 2023.

The 2024 season is already in motion because it started on October 9 2023 with several contests already finished and people were already awarded in various events and they can move on to the 2024 Olympias.

To qualify for this year’s Mr. Olympia, athletes have to win another pro show before the qualification cut-off on September 15, 2024. If an athlete is already Olympia qualified and they win a pro show then the Olympia qualification in that division will not be awarded because these qualifications are only valid for gold medallists and are not passed down.

The organizers of the most anticipated event have finalized the deal with Resorts World Las Vegas for this year’s Mr. Olympia. It is going to take place from October 10th to 13th 2024. The 60th edition of this iconic event is going to happen in the $4 billion resort.

Olympia President Dan Solomon shared that he was proud of the relationship that they had made with the city of Las Vegas for the last 25 years. He said that the team at Resorts World was working closely with them to create the best experience worthy of the 60th year of this competition.

Olympia owner Jake Wood said, “We have big plans for number 60. This one is dedicated to Joe Weider and to everyone who has contributed to the massive growth and popularity of the Olympia throughout the world.”

Arnold Classic and Arnold Classic UK 2024

Arnold Classic is going to take place in Columbus Ohio from March 1st to 3rd 2024. The second most prestigious show in bodybuilding after Mr Olympia is only two months away and the organisers have already announced the official lineup of competitors.

The Arnold Classic is a stage that not only gives prominence to bodybuilders but also strongmen and powerlifters. This competition was founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger and has seven categories with over 80 contestants.

The main competitions this year are going to start in March with the Arnold Classic. Then it is going to move on to the other competitions that are going to go on throughout the year.

There are schedules for Men’s Open, 212 Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Men’s Wheelchair, Women’s Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini, Women’s Physique, and Women’s Wellness. The whole schedule is available on the main website of IFBB Pro. The main event generally starts with Arnold Classic and bodybuilders have already started gearing up for the event.

The Men’s bodybuilding of the Arnold Classic is going to see, Open Division’s defending champ Samson Dauda, 2022 Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan, and Andrew Jacked who was last year’s winner for best pose. The list also has the famous Rubiel Neckzilla Mosquera. He has gone pretty viral and was also placed third in his first IFBB pro where Samson Dauda was also featured.

There are more divisions such as Classic Physique and divisions for the specially abled. All the lineups are already out on the official websites. There are more competitions to look out for after the Arnold Classic. The 2024 shows of NPC are also there and those include events scheduled in Nevada, New Mexico, Florida, Kazakhstan, and California, Russia. All of these shows are either NPC National Qualifiers, IFBB Pro, or Olympia Qualifiers. The most important among these is Mr Olympia which is going to happen in Las Vegas.

Arnold Classic UK is also around the corner and will start on March 15 to 17 2024. This will take place two weeks after Arnold Classic USA in Colombus and will mark a huge kickoff to the bodybuilding calendar in 2024.

2024 New York Pro Men’s Bodybuilding

The New York Pro will commence on May 18 in New Jersey. There is also exciting news for everyone which was uploaded in NPC News online on YouTube. The prize money has increased for this competition and 7 Pro divisions this time!

The total prize money is $120,000. The breakdown is as follows:

2024 California Pro Men’s Bodybuilding

The information is already out on Musclecontest.com and fans are excited. The online entry to the competition is $195 plus the processing fee is $5. Every athlete has to be an active member of the NPC before they decide to compete in this show. The schedule starts from May 24 and will continue till May 25.

The location of the contest is Marriott Anaheim. The posters and other announcements will be present on the official website soon!

2024 Toronto Pro Supershow Men’s Bodybuilding

This show is taking place from June 8 to 9 and the Qualifier is on Saturday while the Pro show is on Sunday. The official Instagram page for the show has updated the information about the dates.

The 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow had 10 IFBB pro league contests with the Men’s Open being the main event which was won by Iain Valliere. Let’s see how exciting this show will be this time.

2024 Dubai Pro Men’s Bodybuilding

Middle East’s leading fitness and bodybuilding contest will be held from 25 to 27 October 2024. The official website of the Dubai Pro Show has most of the information and according to them the floorplan is almost 50% full for the October event and filling up fast!

Bob Cicherillo also previously announced that The Dubai Pro will be bigger and better and the June 22 and 23 show for 2024  will feature the men’s Bodybuilding Open event. This event is an Olympia qualifying event so it is going to be pretty competitive.

2024 Texas Pro Men’s Bodybuilding

Texas Pro 2023 was won by Andrew Jacked and he won his second straight Texas Pro title by defeating Hunter Labrada. The 2024 show is also going to be as amazing as the previous one and it will be held on 10th August in Irving Texas.

The venue for the contest is the Westin Irving Convention Centre at Las Colinas. All other information is also going to be given on their official website.

2024 Legion Pro Men’s Bodybuilding

The pro legion opening will be held on 28 September. The 2023 show saw some amazing performances in the eight divisions including Men’s Bodybuilding, Bikini, Men’s Physique, Fitness, Classic Physique, Women’s Physique, Figure, and Wellness. The event is a National Qualifier!

This year too, they will start with a bang, and more information will be available soon.

2024 Romania Muscle Fest Pro Men’s Bodybuilding

This fest is pretty important because it gives a chance to bodybuilding champions who did not qualify for Olympia previously or were having some visa issues due to which could not attend Olympia. This competition will happen from November 9 to 10 2024 in Face Convention Center Bucharest.

The rules have also been given on the website. IFBB professional League Pro athletes have to choose only one category. The height and weight will be measured. The 2023 show saw Samson Dauda and Behrouz Tabani compete in the show and secure 1 and 2 positions. Let’s see what happens in 2024!

2024 Ben Weider Natural Pro Men’s Bodybuilding

This pro show will take place on 15 November 2024 at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. The 2023 show saw the Men’s Open winner to be Eric Salazar. The previous year’s show was held on November 17 and 18.

There are 9 bodybuilding divisions in this contest. All other competitions that are going to happen this year are going to be qualifiers for Mr Olympia so ultimately people are more anticipated for the year end. Let’s see what the final results are for the bodybuilding world.
